'Lucifer' Season 2 Air Date, Spoilers, News & Updates: Lucifer And Amenadiel Work Together To Look For Their Mother; Everything That We Need To Know!

"Lucifer" Season 2 is coming back with more twists to the story. Lucifer (Tom Ellis) is going to look for his mother together with his brother, Amenadiel (D.B Woodside).

According to iTechPost, once" Lucifer" Season 2 kicks in; it starts right away with Lucifer and Amenadiel looking for their mother. It can be recalled that Charlotte (Tricia Helfer) escaped from the gates of hell in Season 1.

Charlotte wants to spend some time with her sons in "Lucifer" Season 2. It is not clear though if she wants to seek vengeance for being trapped in Hell for so many years. This season will focus mainly on Charlotte's character.

Executive Producer Joe Henderson shared that Charlotte's escape from hell in "Lucifer" Season 2 is very genuine. I also is said to be emotional but will change at a later part of the season. Henderson also added that Amenadiel is jealous of Lucifer since God sent Lucifer to find their other instead of him.

Mazikeen (Lesley-Ann Branditt) is also one source for Amenadiel's jealousy when "Lucifer" Season 2 returns. It seems that Amenadiel falls for Mazikeen but chooses Lucifer instead. This leads to the brothers getting into a fight towards each other.

Lucifer also finds himself falling for Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German). She is the reason why Lucifer stayed on Earth longer than is expected of him. This may seem to be a conflict for Chloe and his mother in the forthcoming episodes of "Lucifer" Season 2.

In a report from Zap2it, Lucifer starts to find a resolution with his issues between his mother in the early parts of "Lucifer" Season 2. His dad issues will never go away. In the series, Lucifer is said to be more of a mummy's boy. He has a special relationship with his mom then with Amenadiel and his mom.

"Lucifer" Season 2 will have the brothers working together searching for their mom. Along the way, they both uncover each other's issues. They can get along together as the story moves on for being brothers, yet there are also more events to happen along the way that can challenge them.

Fans and followers can expect "Lucifer" Season 2 every Mondays at 9 p.m. ET.
