'Sherlock' Season 4 News And Update: Co-creator Mark Gatiss Says 'More Meaty' Episodes, Moriarty Back From The Dead?

Popular BBC suspense drama series "Sherlock Season 4" and its air date is slated to come back this January 2017, and the waiting is making fans more hyped than ever. The show's frontrunners have recently shared bits of information. Giving some insight as to what's in store for Benedict Cumberbatch's Sherlock and trusted partner Martin Freeman's Dr. Watson.

With just a creepy, mysterious trailer to get some lead on, co-creator Mark Gatiss (who also stars in the series) has revealed few clues for Sherlock's fate in the upcoming episodes of "Sherlock" Season 4, according to the Radio Times. Gatiss said that long-term plans for the sequences involved in the upcoming season would surely surprise everyone and bring them to the edge of their seats.

Gatiss also put an end to rumors flying regarding Moriarty's suicide. He said that what people thought or speculated about the villain's demise won't be happening, and it amazed him as to the creativity of the said theories for the forthcoming episodes of "Sherlock" Season 4.

Sherlock's onscreen brother Mycroft, played by Gatiss, further expressed his excitement over the new season saying ,"I think it's the best one we've done, it's very big chewy stuff, meaty", cites a related Christian Daily post. Many life-changing matters are set to happen, especially in "Sherlock" Season 4 episode 1.

Cumberbatch's silhoutee in  "Sherlock" Season 4 episode 1 would be displaying a calm, and adaptable side to his character. The famed actor further said that the subtle change in personality was due to the friendship he developed with Dr. John Watson during the past season.

Fans of the series would really need to keep tabs on the upcoming episodes for "Sherlock" Season 4, as series creator Steven Moffatt had already revealed that the next season could mean the end for the show as well. Viewers could keep their hopes up for more seasons to come.
