Zack Snyder recently tweeted a photo, showcasing Ben Affleck suited up in the new Batsuit he'll be using for the upcoming DC Comics superhero ensemble, "Justice League."

The tweet from Snyder reads: "Homestretch. Last day filming Batman in the new Tactical Batsuit. #JusticeLeague #Batman"

Dubbed the "Tactical Batsuit," this new suit is a sleeker version of the one he used in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," albeit it sports additional goggles, metal armor plating, mech gear, and a load of other features. It is also noticeable that the new suit is visibly similar to Snyder's iteration of Night Owl, one of the vigilante heroes featured in 2008's "Watchmen."

In addition, some fans have pointed that this image may hint something else aside from the new suit of armor - that is, the apparent arrival of Deathstroke in the film. A side-by-side comparison of the photo and the teaser clip for the said character have led to a few netizens commenting that the Dark Knight may fight toe to toe with the World's Greatest Assassin.

It was recently reported that Deathstroke will be the main antagonist for Ben Affleck's "The Batman," played by seasoned thespian Joe Manganiello.

Aside from the Tactical Batsuit, Snyder has previously mentioned that there will be two other Batsuits - the standard Batsuit shown in the trailer, and a yet to be disclosed suit, which may serve as an enhanced version of the Tactical Batsuit.

The addition of these new suits is a part of DC Films' bid to reconstruct their approach with the DC Expanded Universe.

"The main thing we learned [on Batman v Superman] is that people don't like to see their heroes deconstructed," said producer Deborah Snyder. "They like seeing them in all their glory... I think what's really great is where we're going is kind of what the audience is wanting. We just had to take the characters from somewhere to bring them up to where they are and that was our journey."

"Justice League" will hit theaters globally in 2017.
