LG has unveiled its newest Music Flow products that includes three Wi-Fi speakers and three sound bars. The novel thing about these speakers is that it can be controlled via text message.

The new Wi-Fi Music Flow speakers can accept command from the messaging service Line. LG has also introduced its first battery-powered speakers.

The speakers other than usual features like Bluetooth connectivity, also equip the technology to connect to devices using home Wi-Fi network, similar to Sonos system.

The newly launched speakers from LG also has some natural language processing capability: For instance, if you send "play music for party," speakers will start a party playlist.

When a smartphone is in the proximity of the speaker, Auto Music Play will start playing music automatically and it will stop when you walk out of the door.

These speakers connect via dual-band Wi-Fi, utilizing both 2.4GHz and 5GHz bands which gives them more robust bandwidth than usual Bluetooth connection. There's also an accompanying Music Flow app for iOS and Android devices.

The price has not been revealed yet, but hopefully we could hear more at CES, to be held in January next year.
