Mercedes and Microsoft announced “In Car Office”

An automotive giant Mercedes announced that the company is teaming up with the tech giant, Microsoft to develop an innovative feature called "In Car Office" to its excellent cars in coming years.

IFA - International radio exhibition Berlin, the show which presents the latest products and innovations in the technology world. IFA offers a big platform which attracts the tech giants from more than 100 countries. It is one of the oldest industrial exhibitions in the world and Europe's biggest tech show.

According to MS Power User, The German manufacturer planning to team up with Microsoft in-order to come up with a new technology which offers the person a feel of office in car, thus "In Car Office." The software giant will bring Microsoft Exchange Integration to the car's dashboard, with the new innovative features allowing the person to view the work calendar and automatically keep a track on the appointments for calls, thus allowing a person to make voice calls through in-car voice call system and also continuously monitors on the meetings which the person needs to attend. It keeps a track on locations for the appointments entered into the work calendar and in-turn gives navigational directions to the destinations.

According to MS Power User, At the Converge conference, Microsoft's Peggy Johnson stated  

"We won't be building our own autonomous vehicle, but we would like to enable autonomous vehicles and assisted driving as well. We can certainly do the operating system of the car. You're sitting in the car for many, many minutes a day. Can that be part of your new office, can it be your new desk, a place where you actually get work done? We believe it can. Each of them [automakers] had a little something different that they wanted, and we were able to help enable them."

This new innovative feature in Mercedes cars will be expected to roar the automotive world market starting in the middle of twenty seventeen; details for pricing and specifications have not been released as per Neo Win.
