The youngest one at the age of 18 made himself brave to go on an aircraft all alone around the world.
According to The Guardian, Lachlan Smart underwent his flight training two and a half years ago before he could accomplish his dream of travelling around the world.
On touching down Sunshine Coast at Maroochydore on Saturday, Smart said. "What a welcome," He added "The support I have received from family, friends, the local Sunshine Coast council and community and people around the world that I have never even met has been incredible from the first moment we spoke about this journey."
While sharing his flying experience, Smart said "There were no major failures of equipment ... but I did have trouble with air traffic control coming out of Indonesia," he said. "They would have run me into a mountain if I had gone with their instructions.
"I stuck to my training pretty well and when I saw what they were going to try and send me through I thought, 'They'll be scraping me off the side of a mountain if I go that way'."
Twenty four thousand nautical miles journey set by the great teenager bought him immense pleasure of sightseeing in different countries which include "Fiji, American Samoa, Kiribati, Hawaii, mainland USA, Canada, The Azores, Great Britain, France, Greece, Egypt, Oman, Sri Lanka, Malaysia," Indonesia and finally Australia.
The longest stretch was 13 hours between Hawaii and California, and it was also his longest flight ever.
