Kdrama News: "W" Airing Schedule Be Affected Due To Rio Olympics
MBC stated on the official homepage of the korean drama "W" that it's regular airing time might be affected due to Rio Olympics. Episode 7 and 8 may be moved to the next following week.
Both episodes, slated to air August 10 and 11, respectively, may air normally at "10 p.m. or be canceled."
Because of this possible changes, the viewers expressed their opposition of the idea of cancellation indicating the changes on the ratings and might as well the line of the story.
"W" starring Lee Jong Suk and Han Hyo Joo continuously rose through impressive viewer's rating. Maintaining its standing as the number one drama this time.
"W" is a love story between a couple in their early thirties. It's the story of two people who live in the same era but in different worlds.
Oh Yun Joo (Han Hyo Joo) is a surgeon whose father is a famous comic book creator. One day, her father goes missing and she rushes to his workshop to look for him and instead finds a strange man, Kang Chul (Lee Jong Suk) bathed in blood. She is kidnapped by him and taken to a different dimension.
"W" airs every Wednesday and Thursday on MBC.
