Kpop News: BLACKPINK Drops Debut Teaser Images

New girl group BLACKPINK is all set for their debut date. It has been previously announced that BLACKPINK will be debuting on August 8 with a double title tracks.

On August 5, YG Entertainment unvieled the group's Debut teaser with their debut track entitled "BOOMBAYAH".

Indicated on the teaser image, "BOOMBAYAH" is produced by Teddy while the lyrics were made by Teddy and Bekuh Boom. This single will be officially released on August 8 at 8 p.m. KST.

2nd teaser image of BLACKPINK's debut track has been also revealed entitled "Whistle". It is also produced by Teddy and Future Bounce and written as well by Teddy and Bekuh Boom.

Additionally, YG Entertainment has been recently revealing individual and group images for their upcoming debut. Featuring the group's member Rose, Jisoo, Lisa and Jennie. Take a look at the various shoots below!

BLACKPINK will likely promote their debut album throughout the year. The group's other tracks will also be released at a different time.

Following the release of their debut tracks on August 8, BLACKPINK will hold their debut showcase at 3 p.m. KST which will stream live on Naver's V App.

Fans are now anticipating of YG's new girl group and are expecting for a great group with combined powerful performance.

The group's line-up of members is Jennie, Lisa, Jisoo, and Rosé.
BLACKPINK is consists of Jennie that was born in 1996, Lisa is Thai and 19 years old, Jisoo was born in 1995, and Rosé is from Australia and born in 1997.

A YG representative explained behind the group's name and said that while pink is described as the prettiest color, being pretty isn't everything. Thus the team is beautiful but also talented.
