‘The Bachelorette’ Episode 6, Review: Unexpected Elimination, First Kiss and Catfight Make Week Six Interesting
The sixth week on 'The Bachelorette' turned out to be quite an exciting watch as there was enough of fun, drama and emotion.
It started off with JoJo and the eight guys traveling to Argentina. Chris announced that things are being switched up this week and there will be a second two-on-one date along with a regular one-on-one and group date.
And so, the one-on-one date began with JoJo picking Wells and he was clearly asked to kiss her. His date card read: 'If you don't kiss me on this date you're going home.' And thus, Wells gave his first kiss, which made JoJo cheer for him. However, it did not end well as the two realized during the dinner that they were pretty different people. And poor Wells was sent home.
When it was the turn of group date, JoJo went around the city with James, Alex, Robby, Luke and Jordan. And James behaved a little annoyingly as he kept grumbling about how he did not have the perfect smile or the perfect tan.
He also told JoJo about a fight he had with Jordan during their poker session and it seemed like he was miffed with Jordan for being having the semi-famous status. Later, it led to a fight between him and Jordan. On the other hand, Luke was the lucky guy during the group date and made the most of the opportunity. He also got the group date rose.
As for the two-on-one date, it was a competition between Derek and Chase. While it looked like Derek was having the upper hand, it did not go in his favor. He was extremely confident and told her how he was completely falling for her. But Chase seemed to have outsmarted him with his gentlemanly demeanor and thus, Derek was sent home and it was quite a soppy farewell.
At the cocktail party, a surprise awaited for Alex and James, who were the two guys in the danger zone. None of the two was eliminated and the next journey will go on with the six guys left behind.
