‘Real Housewives of Orange County’ Season 11, Episode 2, Review: Vicki Gunvalson Has a Hard Time Getting Pardoned
Before the current season of 'Real Housewives of Orange County' began, controversial housewife Vicki Gunvalson, whose ex-boyfriend was embroiled in a cancer scandal, had said that she is looking forward to move on in life and start afresh.
Well, looks like other housewives won't let it happen, at least not so soon. The second episode of the show was solid proof as all the four housewives refused to buy her side of the story. They were unforgiving and refused to reconcile with Vicki.
Shannon Beador clearly explained to her husband that she has nothing to say about someone who does not take responsibility for what they do. She said that Vicki has neither shown any remorse nor taken responsibility for her actions. And therefore, both cannot go back together to being fast friends that they were.
Though she was in favor of forgiveness, she made it clear that things cannot be brushed under the carpet and she does not work that way. Tamra Judge was sarcastic and wondered what was it that Vicki was sorry for. Was it that she felt sorry for getting caught?
Meghan King Edmonds said that she has hurt everyone and is still playing victim. Heather Dubrow was also unrelenting but she tried to address the issue directly. She said that she does not care what her boyfriend did, what she is concerned about is Vicki's involvement. And Vicki told her that she was not part of his lie.
Vicki was definitely hurt by the attitude of the housewives but she was in no way breaking down. She said that her aim is to stay positive and her family and business are the things that she wants to focus on. She also said that she just wants to get the negativity out of her life.
And she got support too. New entrant Kelly Dodd was all sympathetic towards Vicki and said that she wants to protect her because it is an awful experience to be ostracized. However, others dismissed her compassion and said that she is new and doesn't know what exactly happened.
