Intex Aqua Sense 5.1 Specs, Price and Updates

Intex has launched a new entry-level Aqua Sense 5.1 smartphone in India. The phone is listed on the company's website with a price tag of Rs 3,999, it is expected to be available for buying soon.

 The Aqua Sense 5.1 comes with a quad-core Spreadtrum (SC7731) processor, clocked at 1.2GHz. The phone packs in 512MB of RAM and 8GB internal storage. The phone supports expandable storage through a microSD card.When smartphone has a 5-inch display with resolution of 480 X 854 pixels. The Aqua Sense 5.1 runs Android 5.1 Lollipop and has dual-SIM support. The phone is powered with a 2,500mAh battery.

On the back, the Aqua Sense 5.1 carries a 2-megapixel camera and it also has a 0.2-megapixel camera on the front. The phone supports Bluetooth, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, Wi-Fi. The phone will be available in champagne, grey and white colours. Last week the company launched its first VR-supported Aqua View smartphone at Rs 8,999. With the Aqua View phone, Intex marked its entry into the virtual reality market. The phone comes bundled with Eyelet, a VR cardboard device.

The phone comes with an in-built cardboard application that "allows users to experience Eyelet VR technology. The Cardboard, Eyelet, is the version-2 of Google cardboard and so is compatible with any smartphone (the hardware should support Gyroscope and Accelerometer sensor)" the company said in a statement. The 4G LTE capable Aqua View phone comes with a 5-inch HD display with 2.5D curved glass on the front.

The phone is powered by a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek processor coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal memory which is further expandable by up to 32GB via microSD card. It runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.Intex is yet to stay firm in the markets due to their varied phones which people hardly look at, but however we may actually see people buying this device considering it's 2500mAh battery and a thankfully implemented arguably newer variant operation system at that price point.
