Huawei Honor 5C: Specs, Features and Release Date

Huawei's off-shoot brand Honor may launch the budget phone Honor 5C in India on June 22. The company seemed to be on a teaser-spree off-late, taking to social media channels, to tease the phone in question. That said, it is yet to confirm that it would launch the Honor 5C here on the said date.

One of the teasers had pointed to a Kirin 650 16nm chipset inside the phone. The Honor 5C launched in China recently that came with a Kirin 650 processor with 2GB RAM.The Huawei Honor 5C comes with a 5.2-inch Full-HD display with a 1080 x 1920 pixels' resolution.

It is powered by a 2GHz octa-core Kirin 650 processor with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is further expandable up to 256GB via microSD card. The manufacturer said that rhe dual-SIM phone would run on Android 6.0 Marshmallow-based Emotion UI out-of-the-box.The Honor 5C sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash along with an 8-megapixel camera on the front. The Honor 5C is backed by a non-removable 3,000 mAh battery.

The Honor 5C seems like some sort of variant of the Honor 5X. The Honor 5X comes with a 5.5-inch Full-HD IPS screen with a 1080x1920 pixels resolution and a 1.5GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 processor with Adreno 405 GPU and 2GB RAM under the hood. It comes with 16GB of internal memory which is expandable by up to 128GB microSD card.

The Honor 5X comes with a 13-megapxiel camera on the rear with f/2.0 aperture, autofocus and LED flash along with a 5-megapixel front camera. It is also backed by a 3,000mAh battery.The pricing of the same phones are yet to be made available and Huawei said that the request would be done as soon as possible due to some internal suggestions.
