‘Real Housewives of New York’ Season 8, News Update: Is Jill Zarin Coming Back

Jill Zarin is one of the oldest housewives on 'Real Housewives of New York' but fans have not seen her after she left the show in 2011. She did not even return for a cameo like other housewives.

However, things might change in the current season as reports about her comeback are circulating around. It is being said that producers are weighing the idea of bringing her in. Though there is no official confirmation as yet, it is a much-talked-about speculation. And no one is surprised either as Jill had a successful run on the show and was quite popular among viewers.

She was a likeable character in the beginning but later turned into one of the most hated figures. Her fights and propensity to stir up drama, made her quite unpopular. But a long time has elapsed since then and if she has learnt from her mistakes, it is not really a bad idea to bring her back.

She would do well for she is experienced but there is also a good possibility of the new housewives making life tough for her. In fact, Bethenny Frankel, a housewife from the current season, has made it clear that she does not like Jill. And given the influence she wields on the producers, it is a little difficult to imagine Jill making a comeback.

But it is not like everyone is opposing her. She has got support as well. Countess LeAnn de Lesseps would be willing to welcome her with open arms as she has said that everyone wants to see Jill. Notably, it was Jill who introduced de Lesseps to the show. As for Jill, she does not seem to be in a mood to return and has said that she does not think it is healthy for her.

It is worth mentioning here that this is not the first time that Jill's name has cropped up for a comeback. Two years back, in 2014, she was prepared to return for a cameo but things took a different turn and Ramona Singer replaced her.
