Kpop News: Kim Na Young Confirmed to Debut in Jellyfish Entertainment’s New Girl Group

"Produce 101″ trainee Kim Nayoung is confirmed to debut as a member of Jellyfish Entertainment's new girl group this was announced on June 9.

It was previously announced that other trainees Kim Sejeong and Kang Mina is also set to debut of the label's first girl group. The group is expected to debut at the end of this month.

Being chosen as one of the top trainees on "Produce 101," Kim Nayoung has proven her talent and potential by constantly making a spot in the coveted "A" class. During the group battle mission, she was the center and main vocals for her group's performance of KARA's "Break It. She even made it to the top 22.

Kim Nayoung also gained a lot of attention for joining in the music video of labelmate VIXX title track "Dynamite."

Meanwhile, Produce 101 is a 2016 reality girl group survival show on Mnet. This was aired on January 22- April 1, 2016, with a total 11 episodes. It is a large-scale project in which the public "produces" a unit girl group by choosing members from a pool of 101 trainees from 46 entertainment companies as well as the group's concept, debut song, and group name. The show has the second-largest budget of all shows produced by Mnet at about four billion won (approximately $3.4 million).
