Google+ Introduces 'Auto Enhance' For Videos
Auto enhancement for photos in Google+ is something that majority of users appreciate. The feature is now available for videos too. Simply open a video through Google+ website or through Photos app for Android, and you will find a new 'Auto Enhance' feature.
The auto enhance feature can automatically adjust lighting, color, stability and speech for your videos.
The new feature applies to videos backed up to Google. The company advises to use Auto Backup to securely use the shot videos and the Google+ will automatically analyze picture and audio quality.
Users will be shown a preview with an instant side-by-side comparison "so you can choose to apply changes or stick with the original." The changes are all reversible and you can even opt out of the service entirely if you wish to.
The announcement of the new feature by Google+ follows after Facebook rolled an enhancement feature for photos uploaded through iPhones.
Google+ is not the first to offer enhancement for videos. YouTube also offers an "auto-fix" feature. In addition, videos uploaded on YouTube can be manually tweaked for color temp, saturation and contrast.
Google+ has 540 million users (active October 2013).
