Samsung Galaxy S6 Spotted In Aluminum Unibody, Heads India For Testing
As the Samsung Galaxy S6 release approaches near, frequency of related rumors is outpouring. In the latest one, Samsung's next flagship is said to be sporting an aluminum unibody.
Earlier reports had revealed that Samsung is redesigning Galaxy S6 from scratch and the jump from plastic to metal could be one of the improvement among many others. However, the authenticity of the leak cannot be verified so take the info with a pinch of salt.
The images were leaked by France's Nowhereelse. Leaked images appear to show the part right off the assembly line.
Among other Galaxy S6 related news, the device has been reportedly imported into India for testing. The model number of the device appeared on Zauba - an Indian import tracking company. The device has the model number SM-G920F, expected model number of the Galaxy S6.
The item is labeled as R&D handset, adding to Galaxy S6 speculations.
If proof of device entering testing phases is real, a releasing date could be announced very soon.
Galaxy S6 is also known by its codename Project Zero. The device will be powered by 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor, coupled with 3 GB of RAM. It might sport a 5.5 inch QHD display (1440 x 2560 (535 ppi)), and 32 GB of storage, with an expandable option.
