'Teen Wolf' Season 6 News Update: Dylan O' Brian’s Critical Injury May Prevent Him From Returning To The Show
Dylan O' Brian, the protagonist of 'Teen Wolf' faced a serious injury during the cast of the next installment of the 'Maze Runner' series which delayed the production of the fantasy drama series. The creators of the show did keep their faith on the fast recover of Dylan, and therefore maintained the delay waiting for him to recover.
The production, however, has started now without him, and there are speculations that the actor would no longer feature in the lead role in the drama show, and has exited the cast.
Most of the fans are aware of the fact that the injuries caused to O'Brian during the filming of the 'Maze Runner: The Death Cure' was fatal, but it was not life threatening. However, according to reports, the injuries sustained by the actor were more serious than they initially appeared. An official statement from Fox confirmed that it would take more time for the actor to get to action.
The production of 'Teen Wolf' had begun in February, and the O'Brian was meticulous in dividing his schedule between the TV show in Los Angeles and Vancouver. But, since the occurrence of the accident, the casting of Death Cure had been halted, and the crew is waiting eagerly for O'Brian to get fit and back to his best. Sentiments on his return are positive as the doctor approved that he is fit for shooting action sequences. Teen Wolf, on the other hand, has already started its production without the actor which makes the chances of his return low.
The creators of 'Teen Wolf' invariably had two alternatives - either to remove the character played by O'Brian or to move ahead with the character, but without him. While both the alternatives would have caused sorrow to fans, still the creators have gone ahead with the latter. Harry Styles from 'One Direction' has been roped in to replace O'Brian.
Fans are wishing for a quick recovery of O'Brian so that the filming of Death Cure may resume, and a possible return in Teen Wolf could be facilitated.
