Bill Goldberg will soon appear in a gaming console following 2K's announcement that the two-time World Heavyweight Champion and WCW legend is included in WWE 2k17 pre-order exclusive as a playable character on the latest edition of the video game franchise.

His recent appearance in a pre-order trailer marks his ascendance to the pantheon of previous pre-order exclusive characters like WWE Hall of Famers Sting, Ultimate Warrior and legendary muscle man Arnold Schwarzenegger.

"It's a dream come true. To be able to come back and be included in WWE 2K17, it's a huge honor. It's just a really cool deal to be a character in WWE 2K17. Whether it's Nitro or Halloween Havoc, to have me as an available character, it's really cool. It's a tribute," Goldberg said in a recent interview with WWE.

Gamers who managed to obtain the WWE 2K17 Pre-Order Bonus will have two Goldberg versions and two familiar venues where he previously wrestled. Each playable character version corresponds to his time at WWE and WCW. Moreover, gamers will also be granted access to arenas that remind of Goldberg's career-high achievements, WCW Monday Nitro and WCW Halloween Havoc.

With WWE's recent announcement over Goldberg's inclusion to WWE 2K17 virtual roster, fans are speculating on his possible WWE comeback twelve years since his WrestleMania 20 match against Brock Lesnar, Forbes reported.

When asked about who he want see fighting against his virtual avatar in the game, he mentioned some names that he never got to wrestle with when he was still active.

"There are a number of people that I never got the opportunity to wrestle in an actual ring that I'd love to make happen for the first time in 'WWE 2K17.' I'd love to wrestle a Bruiser Brody from the past. I'd love to wrestle Andre the Giant from the past," Goldberg said as quoted by International Business Times.

The forthcoming iteration to the hyper-popular WWE simulation game is slated for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 releases.
