Fallout 4 News and Rumors: Far Harbor Poorly Performing In PS4 But Okay In Xbox One
Fallout 4 latest DLC title 'Far Harbor' is reportedly performing quite poorly in PS4 as gamers are relentlessly hoping that Bethesda would hasten the development of a patch to improve gaming experience. Recently, the game developer is under fire for a stream of bugs that plagued the expansion on PlayStation 4. Everything seems fine in Xbox One while PS4 gamers have to contend with the bugs until the patch update arrives.
Since its release on PlayStation, users have been flooding the gamers forums with reports of inferior gaming experience in PS4 compared to the Xbox One version. Gamespot, on the other hand, revealed that this issue has already been brought up in advanced review prior to the game's market release. The so-called 'alpha transparency effects' is bogging down game which also surfaced in Xbox One. However, PS4 gamers are the ones who bear the worst bug fluctuations.
To allay the players' restive and ongoing dissatisfaction, Bethesda Software will work hard on fixing the bugs and rectify the technical issues for both platforms. The Xbox One update had already rolled out last May 31 but may take some time on PS4.
As per PlayStation Lifestyle update, the PS4 bug fix should arrive in June although no release date has been confirmed yet. Moreover, the Bethesda announced in a Twitter statement that they already sent the DLC fix update to Sony for the latter's approval.
Meanwhile, the Fallout 4 DLC bug fix in Xbox One will let the gamers set up their Bethesda.net account that would give them access to content download including the mods created by their fellow gamers. The mods are capped at 2GB per players, more than enough for players to try out some new loadable fan-based creations like equipment, gears, and quests.
"With the latest title update for Fallout 4, Xbox One gamers are now able to browse Mods on Bethesda.net and, more importantly, can directly download and play Mods within the game's main menu," a statement from Bethesda reads as quoted by Express.
