The possibility of a relationship between Kara Danvers and Barry Allen is one of the pondering points for fans of 'Supergirl'. Sparks flew when Barry (played by Grant Gustin) met Kara (played by Melissa Benoist), after he found himself in an alternate Earth.

There is no doubt on the fact that the two super heroes would make an adorable couple, and with 'Supergirl' moving to CW, the chances of a union of these two characters seem more evitable and stakes are high that they might fall in love. Benoist, however, thinks otherwise.

As per her revelation, Benoist feels that the two characters are too alike to be attracted to each other. They can be good pals, but certainly not couples. Her analysis was partially proved in the episode 'World's Finest' when the two characters crossed each other, but there was no "love at first sight". However, Gustin harbours a different opinion. He feels that the duo would be a good match due to their similarities.

In 'The Flash' both Kara and Barry were portrayed having different love interest. While Barry is more inclined to Iris, Kara is obsessed with James.

The couple has showcased a decent dynamics in the limited exposure that they got. In times to come, they duo will surely be seen together with much more crossover on the cards.

It can well be said that it is a gala time for fans as they will witness a massive crossover of heroes. According to Mark Pedowitz, the Network president of CW, the four shows, that is, 'Supergirl,' 'The Flash,' 'Arrow' and 'Legends of Tomorrow' would come together and tussle among themselves.

The Season 2 of 'Supergirl' premieres later this year in The CW.
