'The Walking Dead' Season 7 News Update: Fans Speculate The Ultimate Fate Of Maggie

The current casting of the seventh season of 'The Walking Dead' is on, and the cast has been seemingly successful in negating all kinds of spoilers on disclosing the plot of the show. However, there cannot be any check on fans to prevent them from speculating as to the fate of zombie series' return to the AMC.

More so, after the finale of the last season, fans were even more excited to know whose brains were bashed by Lucile. More often than not, the storyline tend to follow the TWD comic books - but not always. So, what happens to Maggie - would she be alive or dead? All these questions loom large before the fans that are eagerly waiting for spoilers.

As per TWD comic books, Lori died along with her unborn child. The television series too featured the passing away of Lori but however, the baby girl survived. There were other similarities as well, like the relationship between Rosita and Abraham, finally getting separated due to another girl. Also, the phrase 'last woman on Earth' was used in both the novel as well as in the television series.

The comic series had Maggie delivering a baby successfully. Maggie has been on the receiving end on many occasion losing her close ones, therefore, it would be harsh on her to lose her baby. Also Glenn's fate is uncertain with chances that he may be killed by Negan, as was the case in the comic plot. However, if this happens, Maggie would need a reason to live.

Last season, fans got a bit protective of Maggie as she suffered from a severe stomach cramp keeping them in awe on whether it was a miscarriage or some other illness. Although, nothing is officially known as of yet, fans speculate that Maggie's character is too significant to end this season.
