Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani News Update: Was Blake’s Proposal to Gwen Accompanied by a Bucket of Fried Chicken?

It would be extremely difficult for Blake Shelton to avoid rumors on how he proposed Gwen Stefani till the time Blake himself officially announces his engagement news. In the meantime, the innovative and the flashy proposals which he is up to, is rather looking odd and bizarre.

According to reports, Gwen Stefani was not much fascinated and amused on Blake's attempt to propose her by his old engagement-ring-in-the-wine-glass style. This time, however, Blake hid the engagement ring in a bucket of KFC fried chicken. Gwen after finding the hidden treasure turned him down, not because she was not touched by his gesture, but she wanted some more time to contemplate if the move would be right for her kids.

However, another report claims that the KFC incident never happened. It is just rumors that spread like wild fire.

Talking of gracious methods of proposing, hiding the engagement in fried chicken may not be the best of the ideas as far as Gwen is concerned, as she is more of a pizza girl and Blake too loves pizza. As per reports from E! News, Blake and Gwen were spotted last December in the Mama Cozza's Italian restaurant along with Gwen's three sons enjoying their exotic style pizza.

Gwen is also a fan of sushi which Blake, for the first time, tried in her appearance on the 'Tonight Show'. He tried other menus as well - and hopefully he won't experiment with the salmon roll to propose Gwen. As per US Weekly reports, Blake was all set to propose Gwen back in April which, ironically, means that she needs to chew her food well before swallowing. However, with the proposal expected to be round the corner, speculations remain on how would Blake propose to his love this time.
