Kpop News: YG Entertainment responds to reports regarding BIGBANG’s military enlistment + 10th year Anniversary gifts for fans 'BIGBANG10 THE MOVIE'
Various reports were spreading about the military enlistment of BIGBANG.
On May 31, rumors started to sweep that BIGBANG members will be enlisting at the same time to reduce the length of their hiatus. However, YG Entertainment responded with opposition. The agency unveils that BIGBANG will be enlisting at different times.
The agency stated, "The five members of BIGBANG have never talked about enlisting at the same time and will not do so in the future. They will enlist separately and not together."
CEO Yang Hyun Suk of YGE even stated to OSEN, "Throughout these past 10 year with Big Bang, we have never discussed any plans to enlist during the same time period." He added,We are planning to take legal actions against the rumors."
A representative of the label also stated, "Big Bang's oldest member T.O.P. will enlist first, and then other members will follow one by one. In fact, G-Dragon and Taeyang are preparing solo albums for next year." As allkpop quoted.
Meanwhile, BIGBANG is currently preparing for their 10th year Anniversary. They even dropped their poster and their 10 anniversary website.

On June 1, YGE dropped trailer video for the upcoming movie casting our very own BIGBANG! This is a special treat for fans in celebration for 10th year Anniversary. The film will hit theaters on June 30.

The group officially debuted on August 19, 2006. Predominantly a hip hop group, their debut was a moderate success, with their first self-titled Korean album selling 48,000 copies.
