Kardashian Parents Kris and Bruce Jenner are Finally Divorced

Kris and Bruce Jenner, the patriarch and matriarch of the "Keeping Up with the Kardashian" clan, are finally divorced. The legal documents have been signed and the assets divided.

TMZ broke news of the finalization of the divorce. The divorce was a dram-free one and while Kris got the Calabasas house, the bank accounts were divided equally. Even though there was no pre-nup, the division wasn't messy.

Under the terms of the split, Kris has to pay $2.5 million to Burce and both opted out of spousal support.

News of the divorce comes more than a year after Kris disclosed their separation. The couple, who is still on friendly terms, has been living apart since the separation and said they were "much happier this way."

"But we will always have much love and respect for each other. Even though we are separated, we will always remain best friends and, as always, our family will remain our number one priority," the couple told E!Online earlier.

"I would rather have him in my life as a friend than not in my life at all," Kris added during a podcast after news of their split broke.

Kris also told People magazine earlier that they will always love each other and get along very well. The couple has two kids together - Kendall and Kylie Jenner- and feel very connected as a family.

When urged about the reason for the separation earlier, Kris said:

"I don't think it was the pace of life. We've always gone 150 miles per hour, and Bruce has more energy than anybody. I just think it has evolved. I really can't put my finger on it."

TMZ confirmed that Kris filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences and requested joint custody of Kylie Jenner, the only minor left in the brood.

"They both did it together... It's all done and there's no drama or messiness. They worked out all details over the last few months," a source close to the couple told People Magazine.

News of the official divorce comes just a few months after rumors of Bruce dating singer Cher surfaced.

"Cher has been a real confidante to Bruce about his marital problems with Kris," a source told In Touch Weekly at that time adding:

"They've become even closer since Bruce has been spending more time in Malibu - where Cher lives."
