Angelina Jolie Gets 'Sloppy': Maleficent Star Feels Like A 'Caged Tiger'

Angelina Jolie News. Amidst being regarded as one of the highest paid actresses in Hollywood, Angelina Jolie admits that she has experienced times when she felt bored and sloppy, according to reports from Hollywood Reporter.

"There have been times in my career when I've gotten bored and sloppy. ..but I've done my best to listen to my gut. Because I feel you can do whatever you want in this life. So long as you don't hurt anybody, you can do anything," she said.

 The interview was done in January this year but resurfaced when the award-winning actress has decided to focus her creativity being a director. Further, there are rumors that Jolie might retire from her acting career soon.

"I don't want to be in hair and make-up, I don't want to be in wardrobe, I don't want to have to stand on a mark or emote. It makes me feel like a caged tiger," Jolie added.

Her obsession with directing, her newfound love, also made her decide to spend her honeymoon with Brad Pitt in Malta where they also shoot their upcoming movie, By The Sea. Such decision, according to Vogue, has raised eyebrows from critics and the general public but the Maleficent actress simply don't care.

"Yes, we spent our honeymoon playing two people in a terrible marriage. I'm sure a therapist would have a field day analyzing the films I choose to do. But it's been 10 years since Brad and I have worked together. It felt like it was time," she said.

Meanwhile, sources like Niagarathisweek and Xpose Entertainment also made mention of her statement saying that she does not keep a publicist in her acting career.

"I had [a publicist] once, years ago -- I didn't like it. I like to work very directly with people. I don't want somebody in the middle. I'd rather speak for myself."
