Samsung Galaxy S7 vs iPhone 6S: Which Phone is Better?

THE FLAGSHIP Samsung Galaxy S7 is better than the Apple iPhone 6S, Alphabet Executive Chairman Eric Schmidt claimed during a recent interview.Samsung's Galaxy S7 is better than the iPhone 6S - and Apple users know it, Eric Schmidt said during a recent interview on-stage at the Startup Fest conference.

Mr Schmidt, who served as Google CEO from 2001 until January 2011, and now acts as Executive Chairman for parent company, Alphabet Inc.The US software engineer recently spoke on-stage for Startup Fest in Amsterdam, where he admitted to being an iPhone 6S user - as well as owning a Galaxy S7.Mr Schmidt said he thought the Galaxy S7 was an overall better device, with battery life being one of the main reasons.

"Samsung S7 is better," Mr Schmidt said on-stage."It has a better battery. And those of you who are iPhone users [know] I'm right."The crowd was asked to raise a hand if they use an iPhone. The majority of the room raised their hands."So much for the Android monopoly in Europe," Mr Schmidt joked about the result. That's a significant improvement over the last two phones he carried around for work. Until late 2014, he used a Moto X and a BlackBerry.Mr Schmidt also talked about Google IO, and his thoughts on the Alphabet Increorganisation.

Express.co.uk reviewed the Samsung Galaxy S7 earlier this year, branding it the best Android smartphone money could buy.The news comes as Google revealed plans to kill off passwords from its Android devices.Google unveiled its Trust API to developers during its annual I/O conference, which replaces a single written password with a swathe of other security indicators.The Mountain View company will roll-out the technology to banks first, before making it available to all developers by the end of the year.
