‘Game of Thrones’ Season 6 News Update: Did Sansa Indicate at that Horrible Theory Fans have been Fearing

The fifth episode of Season 6 would always be remembered as one of the best by the fans of 'Game of Thrones.' 'The Door' overwhelmed everyone as it poignantly explained why Hodor could only speak his name.

The emotional reconciliation between Jorah and Daenerys was another high point of the episode, but in all these highlights, one very important spoiler was missed by fans. Well, according to reports, Sansa Stark is pregnant. A horrible theory, fans have been speculating, ever since the trailer of sixth season's premiere episode was released.

It showed a terrified Sansa running with Theon to escape Ramsay's soldiers and hounds. One of her closeup photos appeared to reveal a baby bump and that was enough to fuel rumors that Ramsay's seed had taken root. However, nothing of that sort was revealed in season 6 episodes and the rumors slowly began to die.

But the last episode hinted at those rumors and it was Sansa who seemed to validate the theory. While talking to Littlefinger and berating him for marrying her off to Ramsay, she spoke at length about how he had tortured her. And in one of her dialogues where she said that she could still feel what he did to her body, standing over there, seemed to suggest that she was talking about the child inside her womb.

It might have sounded very simplistic and it did because many didn't read much into her words. But if it is dissected carefully and put into perspective, it is not difficult to see the connection between her words and the rumor. And God forbid, if it is true, it could lead to horrible repercussions.

No one wants it to come true, but the show creators are notorious for giving ugly surprises to fans. It has happened umpteen times and if they want to sensationalize the plot, Sansa offers to be a perfect bait.

It is worth mentioning here that they have used her previously as well. Her rape on her wedding night was one such event and it invited severe criticism from all quarters.
