Samsung Galaxy C5 Release Date, Price, Specs and News: How Much Would it Be?
Samsung has long been known to casually pass along rumor mills due to their branding which they are confident of.
Now, it's rumored to be working on the new 'C' series of smartphones, and the South Korean consumer electronics giant is expected to unveil the Galaxy C5 and Galaxy C7 on Thursday afternoon. The leaks surrounding these smartphones have been numerous, and the latest one comes in the form of tell-all render images of the Galaxy C5, leaving very little to the imagination of a no-brainer.
The press renders have been leaked via a German website called WinFuture, whereit shows the Galaxy C5 from all angles. The pictures reveal a gold colour variant, dressed in all-metal. The thin device houses the Micro-USB port, 3.5mm audio jack, and speaker grilles at the bottom, while the power button is on the right, and the volume rockers are on the top left. The camera protrudes out at the back, with the flash resting on its left. This is something that's really good if you take a lot of photos.
The home button in the front and should supposedly have an embedded fingerprint sensor. It is expected to be priced at CNY 2,199 which is approximately around 350$ for the 32GB model and CNY 2,399 and 400$ for the 64GB model. Previous leaks suggested that the Galaxy C5 would sport a 5.2-inch full-HD display; Snapdragon 617; 4GB of RAM; 16-megapixel rear camera; 8-megapixel front camera, and pack a decent 2500mAh battery.Samsung is also expected to unveil a larger Galaxy C7 alongside which is said to come at CNY 2,599 or around 449$ for the 32GB and CNY 2,799 or 499$ for the 64GB model.
While the specs of both the devices are almost identical to the Galaxy C5, it is expected to house a larger 5.7-inch full-HD display; a Snapdragon 625 SoC, and 3000mAh battery.Both the smartphones are expected to run on Android Marshmallow out-of-the-box, support dual-SIM, and be around 6 to 7mm thick. Samsung is hosting an event on May 26, and the company is widely expected to launch these two smartphones and flag off its 'C' series then.
