New Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Leak Confirms QHD Display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 Chip
Another leak about Samsung Galaxy Note 4 confirmed some prominent details such as QHD display, Snapdragon 805 chipset and more.
Samsung contiues to be tigh-tlipped about the Galaxy Note 4 launch, which is speculated to take place on September 3, but that hasn't stopped people from looking for details. Courtesy of an Indonesian retailer Erafone, details of the Galaxy Note 4 were listed on its official website with all the specifications. The listing is active but the pre-order option is no longer available on the site as the device is apparently "sold out."
If the listing bears any authenticity, the Galaxy note 4 will feature a 5.7-inch Quad HD Super AMOLED display with 1440 x 2560 pixels and 515ppi, as speculated in previous leaks. The listing also points toward two variants for the Galaxy Note 4, one with 2.5GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor and another with an octa-core Exynos 5433 chipset. These versions will be available based on the regions they will be shipped out.
The retailer goes on to detail other specifications such as 4GB RAM and 16GB, 32GB and 64GB internal storage options. Additional microSD card slot can support 128GB. Erafone also reveals the handset's camera of 16 megapixels in the rear with Optical Image Stabilization, autofocus and dual-LED flash. No information on the secondary camera was available.
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is also likely to run on Android 4.4.3 KitKat version out of the box, which means Google will stage a new Android version roll-out soon.
Earfone also listed the price of the handset to be IDR 9,499,000, which translates to roughly $800 or around £490. But The Inquirer reports that the final pricing will be higher than £490 when released in the U.K.
Previous reports have indicated that the Galaxy Note 4 will hit the shelves as early as September 15, following a September 3 launch.
