Over the years ESPN's '30 on 30' series of documentaries has been regarded as perhaps the best work on sports documentaries in modern times and the series has covered some of the most iconic stars from different sports in its documentaries. However, it comes as no surprise that ESPN have now made WWE legend Ric Flair as subject of a '30 on 30' documentary and the documentary is slated to be of a duration of either 120 minutes or 90 minutes depending on the views of the editors and producers of the show. The documentary is currently in its final stages as the producers currently on the lookout for some archival footage that would spruce up the documentary and in addition to that, few face to face inteviews with Ric Flair are still to be shot before it is completed.

WWE fans would also get to see interviews from some of the biggest names in the industry like Shawn Michaels, Eric Bischoff, Jim Ross, Truly Blanchard, Sting, The Undertaker and Ricky Steamboat among others. In addition to that, there will be interviews from members of Flair's family as well and needless to say, this has created a lot of buzz among most WWE fans.

Ric Flair had also spoken about the documentary last year in his podcast. "Well, it's my whole life.It [has] a little bit to do with my airplane crash, of course, and then coming back from that. And then the titles and the championships and it touches a lot on my personal life, which has been up and down. Right now, it's perfect, but I had a couple rough years there. And it talks about my son, Reid. [ESPN] wanted to talk about him, how special he was to me. And then, a lot about Ashley, Charlotte, who is now the champion in WWE, the Divas division. And about my other two children, Megan and David. So, it was very nice. And then, it talked about where I am today." Flair also went on to say that despite being very stringent about its intellectual property, the WWE were very gracious and helpful about all footage requests.
