'The Last Of Us 2' Release Date, News & Update: Will The Sequel of ‘Last of Us’ See Ellie Pregnant?

If rumors are to be believed, Naughty Dog may center their focus on Ellie in the next installment of "Last of Us." This claim may be supported by a hidden clue inside "Uncharted 4." The clue was a poster that revealed a pregnant woman, reportedly Ellie, and a title "The Last of Us," followed by a slogan, "American Daughters." The report also pointed out that the woman in "The Last of Us 2" poster has the same getup, hair color and dirt smudge that is similar to that of Ellie.

However, the contradictory reports noted that Ellie, in the Last of Us 2 poster, is holding a gun in the left hand, even though she is right handed. However, the media publication said that "The Last of Us Remastered" will show Ellie with a weapon in her left hand. It has also been pointed out that the gun held by Joel in "The Last of Us Remastered," is similar to the one held by Ellie in "The Last of Us 2" poster in "Uncharted 4." This gun similarity has a larger significance, showing Joel passing the torch off to Ellie in "The Last of Us 2."

This is not the first time that Naughty Dog has used "Uncharted" to drop hints about their upcoming game. News reports suggest that game is projected for 2018 release and Joel is speculated to be replaced as a lead.
