Kpop News: Infinite’s Woohyun first mini-album takes #1 on Album Charts

Woohyun of 'Infinite' has topped number one on album charts for his first mini album "Write". For the first week of its official release, his album has reached and top on various music streaming sites, since then it continuously topped on different charts.

Woohyun's agency, the Woollim Entertainment revealed that even during the pre-order dates Woohyun's album was instantaneously sold out. His markets for the album placed him in the first place for the weekly charts (May 9~15) for the Hanteo and Synnara music charts.

Woohyun is currently promoting his lead track "Nod Nod" on different music shows in South Korea and the singer also recently affirmed his appearance at the 2016 Dream Concert as a solo artist. (Soompi)

On May 8, Woohyun's first solo mini-album was officially released together with his MV for his emotional track "Nod Nod". His album consists of 6 tracks where three of it is being produced by the singer himself.

He previously attended a showcase as a celebration of the release of his first mini-album "Write".

In the showcase, Woohyun shared his undertakings and dedication he gave to his debut solo album. He shared, "A lot of time went into releasing my first solo album. I worked hard in writing and producing it, and the 'W' on the album cover is taken from my initial."

His title track "Nod Nod" is written by J.Yoon, Kim Eana, and Rocoberry. Woohyun said, "I worked together with people who know me well. I discussed with them about my album while having dinner. 95 percent of this album I took part of it.

As what Woohyun promised, he did take first place for his album.
