Bill Cosby's Daughter Issues Statement in Support of Father
Just a day after comedian Bill Cosby's wife Camille released a statement in defense of her husband, his daughter Evin also publicly addressed the issue.
Evin Cosby, 38, issued a statement to Access Hollywood dismissing the sexual assault allegations and showing her support to her father.
"He is the FATHER you thought you knew. The Cosby Show was my today's tv reality show. Thank you. That's all I would like to say :)," the statement from the 38-year-old reads.
In fact, Evin has also been posting messages on the social media in support of the elder Cosby.
After Camille Cosby released a statement defending 'The Cosby Show' star Monday, the Los Angeles-based boutique owner posted on Facebook, "Love my mom."
She also voiced her strong opinion on rape by writing: "Rape is a serious allegation and it is suppose to be taken VERY seriously but so is Falsely accusing someone. When someone rapes a person they go to prison. THAT should also happen to the person that has wrongfully accused an innocent victim. They are not ONLY destroying innocent people's life they are ALSO making it hard for the MEN and Women to find justice when they have been raped," Daily Mail reports.
She went on to question the credibility of the alleged victims' recollections of the assault incidents.
"Drugged- you can remember the whole damn day but you were drugged? Just sayin. Memory- you can remember you looked at (allegedly) each other, people were starring allegedly remembering your home address allegedly the name you called him allegedly But you were allegedly drugged," she said.
Evin showed her gratitude towards those who have stood by the Cosby family during this rough patch. Cosby and wife Camille have five children together.
Eldest is 49-year-old Erika who works as an adjunct art professor in New York. Erinn, 48, is pursuing a Ph.D. at Temple University and lives in Philadelphia, while Ensa, 41, has tried her fate in acting. Evin, 38, as we have mentioned above is a boutique store owner. The couple had another child Ennis, who was killed in 1997 in Los Angeles in an attempted robbery.
