Kpop News: BTS ranked #1 as the most marketable boy group of South Korea
BTS seems to consistently slaying the Korean entertainment industry. BTS immense popularity that is given so much love from their fans across the world since their debut earned credits for their accomplishments and success. They turned out to be consistent since last year for they are ranked #1 as the most marketable boy group for 5 months in a row. BTS has been at the top since January.
The data was said to be gathered from April 13th to May 14th.

Above is the report from Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation, stating that BTS is the most valued group as of the month of May 2016. The brand power index basically measures the "profitableness of idol groups in the Korean commercial advertisement industry", and there are three indexes served as the basis for the ranking, these are participation, communication and brand reputation. Each group received scores with how much they get from these indexes.
With these, the list above showed BTS to be on the top ranked who garnered a total score of 6,798,528 and followed by SECHSKIES with a total score of 6,645,442 so close to BTS's score. The rookie boy group SEVENTEEN ranked 3rd with a total score of 3,681,194, followed by VIXX, Block B at the 5th rank, Big Bang at #6 and so forth.

BTS had their debut last 2013 with their song "No More Dream". Since then, the group won several awards since their debut which give them a big break in the industry.
The group consists of seven members-Rap Monster (leader, rapper), Jin (vocalist), Suga (rapper), J-hope (rapper, dancer), Jimin (vocalist, dancer), V (vocalist), and Jungkook (vocalist, dancer).
