Amy Schumer and Goldie Hawn are all set to feature in a movie, tentatively named Mother/Daughter. The movie focuses on the plot of a woman getting kidnapped along with her mother, when they were enjoying a vacation in Brazil. The script of the movie has been drafted by Katie Dippold, who has successful creations such as 'The Heat' and 'Ghostbusters' to her name and repertoire.

The script of the Mother/Daughter is based on the writer's relationship with her mother, although they have never experienced any similar situations or circumstances of being kidnapped at any point in time. If the plot of the storyline or the reference of the writer is not sufficient to generate positive sentiments, the casts would definitely do so. According to reports, Christopher Meloni, star of Law & Order: SVU, would feature in the film playing the character of a treasure hunter. Meloni, in the movie, would be diagnosed with terminal cancer.

However, the question remains - how does Christopher Meloni being diagnosed with cancer and playing the role of a treasure hunter connect with the kidnapping of Schumer and Hawn? The suspense of the plot remains, and fans are still in search of the slightest hint on the storyline among news and other online evidences. However, from the current revelations of the film being pictured on a daughter getting kidnapped with her mother while on vacation and a cancer diagnosed patient, who searches for treasure in an attempt to keep him distracted from the terminal disease, could also point to a comical touch to the plot of the film.

Unlike conventional kidnapping scenes, this could be filled with light hearted, humors, jokes and other frills. This may seem unlikely, but the director of the film, Jonathan Levine, does have a history of finding comedy scenes in diagnosis of a terminal disease.
