M! Countdown's May 12 Episode featured comeback stages and promotions of the latest's idols and singer. This Episode features the hot pick of the week BTS and TWICE. BTS won the first place for "Fire" with 7692 points surpassing TWICE's 7296 points.

BTS happily thanked the fans all over the world, their family and staff for the win. BTS's Jungkook then relayed his message to all the fans that he is okay. Where it was recently announced by his label that he is suffering from flu and later this day revealed a misdiagnosis of his condition. Big Hit Entertainment announced that Jungkook is regaining his normal strength and so he will continuously attend all the promotions on different music shows and fan sign events.

Other performances for today's episode were TWICE with "Cheer Up" Woohyun returned with "Still I Remember", Tiffany made her first solo performance with "Talk" and "I Just Wanna Dance", SEVENTEEN with "Pretty U", I.O.I.with "Dream Girls", Akdong Musician returned with "Re-bye" and "How People Move", Stephanie came back with "Tomorrow", NCT U with "Without You", Lee Hi with her "My Star", Lovelyz performed with their track "Destiny", CocoSori with their song "Exquisite", Crush returned with "Woo Ah", History with "Queen", MIXX, VAV, and Kim Wan Sun.
