According to news reports, EA and Maxis are facing difficulties in porting the famous PC game on to consoles. The partners reveal that any attempt to bring the game on Xbox One and PS4 ends up with a bug. This is the reason the game has been delayed further on these gaming platforms.

Meanwhile, OS X and Window users can rejoice as "The Sims 4" will be available on their platforms pretty soon. Reports suggest that the expansion pack for the game will be released most probably by the end of spring.

According to previous reports, "The Sims 4" Restaurant DLC pack has been facing porting problems for Xbox One and PS4. However, despite that, EA promises that the game will be released on consoles by the end of Spring.

Even though reports suggest that the DLC will be available on both the consoles some time this year, there is no official statement released by EA to confirm the claims.

As far as life simulation games are concerned, "The Sims 4" is perhaps one of the most famous titles, hands down. This is the reason why many fans are waiting for the series to arrive on Xbox and PS.

In a recent report it was revealed that the latest DLC for "The Sims 4," Restaurant Game Pack, has been released for PC several weeks ago and PC gamers have already sampled the latest DLC.

Several reports indicate the same issue that is causing the delay in "The Sims 4" on consoles, that is the porting issue. Once the technical problems have been fully addressed, the game will be all set for the big release.
