Seems like WhatsApp now have plans to make a standalone access for PCs too. And not just that, the social media giants Facebook have a lot of stuff planned and are under development. Which means there might be more features added to the app in the near future.

WhatsApp also simultaneously have decided to end support for obsolete versions of operating systems and of course also ended up support for Blackberry devices if you weren't familiar before. They are at the same time concentrating on more features but neglecting older versions which is kind of a fair share of pros and cons. Now, in this news, it's supposed that the rumored call back button, zip file sharing support and voicemail are very soon coming to all dominating user platforms now.

WhatsApp might also bring in many more important features according to a new source. A new leak points out that the service is working on video calls, NFC tags and group invites too.

It seems that video calls are coming very soon to WhatsApp. Right now only Facebook's messenger application actually supports video calling from Facebook. WhatsApp might soon have one. It's currently unknown whether they will be rolled out to beta participants only, to everyone, or as the same silly invite-like system of voice calls, is yet unknown.

In addition, the leaks reveal the option to send group invites via links and NFC tags. WhatsApp is also trying out ways with which members of a limited group can invite other WhatsApp users to join as well. Recently, a report mentioned that WhatsApp for iOS and Android will now get a "Call Back" that will show notifications for a missed call with a call back option. This if provided will eliminate the needs for users to actually open the app and then make the call.
