Final Fantasy X and its direct sequel X2 are heading to reach the PCs of its fans via Steam. The double pack has already received a HD treatment on Playstation 4 in 2015.

The re-released version of Final Fantasy X and its direct sequel is expected to have a re-mastered soundtrack and a few more features according to reports. In addition, it will have improved graphics than before, but it is still not clear whether the voice acting will be improved too.

Reports suggest that there is a quasi-Pokémon feature in the game that will allow the user to capture and train enemy monsters to use them as their own at the time of a battle. It is something that was first observed in the second launch of FFX-2 in Japan.

The double pack will be re-released on Steam on May 12, however, the cost of the pack has not been announced yet. The previous PC ports suggest that a user might have to pay anything between $12 and $20.

The Steam page does not lists or provides any information on any of the PC benefits associated with Final Fantasy X and its direct sequel X2. Considering the known fact that it runs at 1080p / 60fps on consoles, the users expect the game not to cause any problems during operation on Steam.

While Final Fantasy X makes it way onto Steam, it is still not confirmed whether the upcoming Final Fantasy XV will be made available on PC or not. Final Fantasy XV is slated for release in September this year. PC Gamer reports that if Final Fantasy XV make it to the PC, it will feature material that won't be compatible with the console editions.
