‘The Walking Dead’ Spoilers and News Update: Producer Greg Nicotero Hints Negan Claimed Multiple Victims, Including Maggie

There are still six months before season 7 of 'The Walking Dead' premiers and hence, there will be no end to speculations regarding the cliffhanger season 6 finale. Fans are angry that it ended without disclosing the identity of the victim.

Even Robert Kirkman's apology through the comic book did not do much to heal their wounds and they are festering with frustration and doubts. And now producer Greg Nicotero has hinted that Negan could have killed more than one person. His Lucille might have spilled blood of multiple victims, including the pregnant and sick Maggie.

According to reports, he has revealed that there is a lot of great story ahead. Talking about Maggie, he said that though she did not look good at the time of the season 6 finale, other characters were also in a bad shape in those horrifying moments. Revealing further details, he said that the group dynamic is set to undergo transformation after Negan's revenge.

It will have a deep impact on Rick Grimes because Negan considers him equally culpable. Rick is fiercely protective of his group and would not flinch from killing people in their sleep and from Negan's perspective, this is a brazen move and he would definitely go after him.

Greg further said that he acknowledges the fervor caused by the cliffhanger and it was never intended to game the audience. The show was just trying to attract them to season 7 and wanted them to keep talking, which they doing. He accepted that people are angry, but also said that speculation is fun to indulge in during the break.

It may be mentioned here that Kirkman had issued an apology after fans pooled together thousands of signatures, asking the show's bosses to reveal the victim. The campaign was an indication of fans' fury at being left to solve an excruciating conundrum.
