Kpop News: Infinite’s Woohyun releases his debut solo album

On May 8, Woohyun's first solo mini-album was officially released together with his MV for his emotional track "Nod Nod". His album consists of 6 tracks where three of it is being produced by the singer himself.

And on May 9, the singer held a showcase for a celebration of the official release of his mini-album "Write".

In the showcase, Woohyun shared his undertakings and dedication he gave to his debut solo album. He shared, "A lot of time went into releasing my first solo album. I worked hard in writing and producing it, and the 'W' on the album cover is taken from my initial."

His title track "Nod Nod" is written by J.Yoon, Kim Eana, and Rocoberry. Woohyun said, "I worked together with people who know me well. I discussed with them about my album while having dinner. 95 percent of this album I took part of it.

Woohyun also made a promise that he will be taking first place with his lead track "Nod Nod".

Modestly saying, Woohyun said, "I'm grateful for releasing an album, If I were to get first place on a music show, I want to put on a busking performance. I want to let my fans listen to a lot of songs through a guerilla performance." And fans would love to hear that!

He also opened up that he had concerns about the genre of his solo album during the process of its preparation. He said, "I was greatly concerned about the genre, "The head told me, 'It's nice when you're dancing and singing on stage, but when you sing a ballad, you touch my heart,' which made me feel good. That's why I prepared an album of the ballad genre." (allkpop)
