Lee Jong Suk signs with new label YG Entertainment

On May 10, YG Entertainment officially announced that the Actor Lee Jong Suk signed an exclusive contract with them.

Lee Jong Suk left his Agency last December and started his own one-man agency these past months, and now he's an official talent of the record label YG Entertainment.

According to media outlets, the actor decided to join YGE because of his desire to focus on acting in a safer and in a well-grounded environment. Lee Jong Suk will be joining his new labelmates top actors Cha Seung Won and Kang Dong Won.

Lee Jong Suk carved his popularity by his different appearance on dramas and movies. He is popularly known for his role characters on dramas "I hear your voice', "Doctor Stranger" and "Pinocchio". He debuted in 2005 as a runway model,and is well known to be the youngest male model ever of the Seoul Collection program for Seoul Fashion Week. He began his acting career in the 2009 Short Film Sympathy.In 2013, Lee ranked respectively in fifth place according to a survey entitled 'Actors Who Lit Up 2013' by Gallup Korea, one of the most recognized awards in Korea for the entertainment industry.

Lee Jong Suk has been won and nominated for several acting awards during his career. He is the youngest actor in history to be awarded the Grimae Award, which is known to be one of the most prestigious awards, for "Best Male Actor" for his performance in Pinocchio.

He recently filmed the Korean-Chinese drama "Jade Lover" (working title) in China, and has also been cast alongside Han Hyo Joo in the MBC drama "W."
