Kpop News: EXO’s Lay losts consciousness due to exhaustion and not by food poisoning

EXO's Lay reportedly lost his consciousness and was rushed to the hospital while filming the Chinese variety show "Extreme Challenge".

While going to the comfort room, Lay suddenly passed out and lost his consciousness where the staffs were startled.

Lay was then rushed to the hospital. It was reportedly revealed that the singer is suffering from food poisoning. Lay was then given IV fluid drops and after taking a bit of rest he was discharged and returned to the filming site to continue shooting.

According to Chinese media outlets, Lay looked weak and faded in keeping his steadiness since the start of filming the show; he was reportedly vomiting and can't keep his steadiness.

However, on May 9, a Chinese media outlet reported that Lay wasn't suffering from food poisoning instead, it was due to exhaustion. A production staff of the show said to the outlet that Lay didn't get enough rest during that time since he has series of conferences, drama filming, performances and such. The singer arrived at Hainan and only took a little food and said he wasn't feeling well. The following day, Lay said he couldn't bear it any longer. (Allkpop)

Many fans were very worried due to the singer's condition and wished him and the staff of the show to take good care of his health and have him some time to rest.

Lay also encountered an incident a few months ago and sustained a minor back injury while filming a Chinese web drama "Old Nine Gates". Lay fell from a motorcycle while filming, and hurt his lower back. Gladly it wasn't that serious.
