'The Good Wife' Season 7 Finale: Finale Episode to Reveal a Shocking Finale
"The Good Wife" has won several awards in the last couple of years and is one of the most popular series on CBS network. However, reports indicate that the show will now take a break from small screen and will give its viewers a fitting series finale.
Michelle and Robert King, the creators of the show, teased that the ending will justify the finale. "It should be surprising but inevitable. That's a very difficult bar to hit, so... be kind," Robert King said in an interview.
"I hope viewers will feel like they want to start at the beginning of the series again. I hope it's like Finnegans Wake, where the end leads them right back to the beginning."
Meanwhile, the creator duo is very proud of keeping Will Gardner's death a secret. They also thank the crew members as well as the actors to help them keep the plot undisclosed from the fans, until the right time comes.
"We also credit CBS, which really understood the need, creatively, to keep it secret. We're still a little confused by how they did it," Robert added.
Will's death was perhaps the biggest shock moments for the fans in "The Good Wife." This twist sent the show spiraling down. The report suggests that while the romantic engagements were fun to see on the show, they were only second to Alicia and her adventures from being a political wife and a headstrong woman.
When Will died in season 6 and Kallinda soon followed suit, the show lost two prime characters, leaving holes in the story line that the production team couldn't possibly fill.
