For tech buffs who plan on getting a brand new phablet may need to step back a little bit and wait for the arrival of Samsung's new phablet flagship, the Galaxy Note 6. The new device may be worth the long wait as rumors point to a slew of features that make it as powerful as or even more powerful than most portable PCs or laptops sold in the market today.

Apart from two flagship smartphones released by the South Korean tech powerhouse, Samsung may still have some interesting surprises up their sleeve with the purportedly powerful phablet from the Note series.

Already, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge were warmly received by tech consumers and went on to become cash cows for the company with rising sales in just over the past few months. Apparently, the company wants to keep the momentum going by creating a new powerful mobile offering churned out from its labs.

As per Value Walk, the upcoming Note 6 will be armed with an impressive arsenal of internal specs that would rival an average PC notebooks offered in the market today. With either Exynos or Snapdragon 823 SoC processor, the device is bound to give the users the kind of powerful kick they want from their phablet.

On top of new processor chips is the generous offering of 6 GB RAM on par with other high-spec PCs being sold in stores today. If rumors prove accurate, this would be the first time, a large amount of RAM is being crammed into a device much smaller than laptops.

If the abovementioned features aren't enough, Breathe Cast also reported that will be powered by a 4,200 mAh battery to give it longer battery life. As for the screen size, the device will reportedly sport a 5.8-inch size display with high def 2k resolution. The storage is equally impressive too with a massive 256GB storage base offering that could house tremendous amount of files and downloads. For added protection, Galaxy Note 6 would also arrive with IP68-certified dust and water resistant package.

Lastly, MNR Daily hinted that the said phablet would be released in two designs: a flat-surfaced display and a curved-edge version. In addition, a security feature may be included such as an iris scanner and biometric fingerprint scanner. Following a trend among high-end phones today, the device may have a USB Type-C port plus a dual-pixel camera feature.

If all of these impressive features and specs turn out to be accurate, then Samsung Galaxy Note 6 will definitely be an iPhone 7 killer.
