Kate Hudson News & Update: Actress Talks Candidly About Her Relationship with Mother, Goldie Hawn
In a recent interview, Kate Hudson said that her mother, Goldie Hawn, has another side to her that the public doesn't know about. The "Kung Fu Panda 3" actress acknowledged that her mom is not only a reliable parent but also a close friend.
"I think people get an idea of her spirit and she's just this wonderful person and she's a light and she's a great mom. She's a very strong presence and she was strict at times," Kate Hudson told People. "She wasn't always like what her Instagram shows. There's another side to mom."
She also said that in her growing years, she never experienced any kind of pressure, even when it was about being an actress. "She just wanted us to be doing the things that made us happy, as long as we were working hard, but we never had to live up to something."
However, when Hudson decided to walk in her mother's shoes and be an actress, they started getting closer. They have always been there for each other, through thick and thin.
"It's not really advice so much as she's my confidante and we talk about our life and her life, and we support each other now that I'm an adult," Kate Hudson added. "Where she's really wonderful is leading an authentic life and a truthful life."
Gary Mitchell, Director, mentioned previously that Kate Hudson and Goldie Hawn are "pretty much the same person" because they share the same funny personality. He also admitted to how both the actresses have helped him through his movies.
