According to a recent release, Galaxy Note 6 contains increased internal storage and bigger screen that will compete with the upcoming iPhone 7 by Apple.

The leak information obtained from Weibo, China's microblogging site, reveals that new Galaxy Note 6 will sport a 5.8-inch screen and 2k resolution. The biggest revelation was that Galaxy Note 6 will feature internal storage memory of 256GB. However, it is not known if the phone will have expandable memory too. But it looks like expandable storage may not be needed, after all.

While other flagship phones by Samsung have Snapdragon 820, the new Galaxy Note 6 will be powered by Snapdragon 823 processor. There are also rumors that the Galaxy Note 6 will also have another version that will be powered by Exynos processor. To enhance performance, the flagship phone will support DRAM, an advanced technology of memory. Moreover, the phone will come equipped with 6GB RAM just like its other latest smartphones.

As per the recent rumors, Galaxy Note 6 will have 4200 mAh battery along with fast charging ability. It may also have the same waterproof and dust proof technology that was introduced with Galaxy S7. The phone may also hold a USB Type-C port or a reversible port that is compatible with USB 3.1 technology. There may also be an upgraded VR Headset that will be compatible with USB-C port. However, these claims are yet to be confirmed by Samsung.

There are also reports that Galaxy Note will have two prototypes, one would come with IR autofocus and the other will have the same camera as S7.
