Bayern Munich, like so many other super clubs, are known to pay top dollar for the biggest talents in the game and more often than not they do end up getting their man if they are really up for it. The German giants have been preparing for a busy summer in order to create a team suited to new manager Carlo Ancelotti and are weighing up their options regarding bids for some of the leading players in Europe. According to latest reports published by The Daily Mirror, the Geman champions are looking for a deal for Arsenal's Chilean super star Alexis Sanchez this summer and have in fact made enquiries regarding his availability through agents.

Arsenal signed Alexis Sanchez for around £33 million back in 2014 and the payer has proven to be one of their best signings in recent years, as he helped the Gunners win the FA Cup in his very first season and scored key goals. The 2015-16 season has not been his best due to injuries and lack of form at some points, but he remains one of the most potent attackers in the English Premier League. Although it is true that Bayern Munich have not placed a bid as yet, they are currently testing the waters and it is safe to say that Arsenal would not be willing to cash in on one of their best players under any circumstance.

The player earns £130,000 per week and is one of the highest earners at the club and hike in the salary would not be a problem for Germany's richest club. However, he is currently in talks with Arsenal regarding a new contract that will boost his salary further and in addition to that, he still has 2 yearls left in his current contract and that will definitely make it tough for Bayern to negotiate any deal for the Chilean. Bayern Munich feel that Sanchez could be a very good replacement for Frank Ribery or Arjen Robben, two of their biggest stars, who are getting on in years and could be gone after a season or two.
