'The Walking Dead' Season 7 News Update: Will Michonne Betray Rick?

With the seventh season of 'The Walking Dead' not scheduled to be aired for some more months, there have been several speculations from fans on who was killed by Negan, and what the dealings between Ezekiel and the Kingdom were.

Fans have started pre-empting on what would probably happen when the Walking Dead would return to the screens. Some fans have developed a theory, which states that Michonne may betray Rick Grimes.

Fans recollect the situation when Michonne and Rick met each other in the prison. She was initially protected and guarded and with the passage of time, she built a trust in Rick and became a part of The Walking Dead family. They started getting comfortable with each other and gradually fell in love. Their romance was exceedingly visible during the end of the sixth season.

The longevity in this relationship is a trending topic amongst fans as they want to see if the romance would last or Michonne would betray Rick. According to the comic book, Michonne and Ezekiel started getting closer and flirting with each other after sharing the stories of their past. However, this does not confirm that Michonne and Ezekiel will have an affair in season seven of The Walking Dead. It is being expected that the plot of the seventh season would not end the romance between Michonne and Rick, and would rather omit Ezekiel's association with Michonne.

On the other hand, given that Rick does not have the best of luck with women, there is an outward possibility of the writers breaking the Richonne bond by having Michonne betray Rick by sleeping with Ezekiel.

Well, nothing can be said with surety as to whether Michonne will betray Rick or will stick to her loyalty. This will only be revealed once The Walking Dead, Season seven airs on television.
