For most footballer in almost all parts of the world, the dream is to play for either of Barcelona or Real Madrid as professional but quite often it does not pan out in exactly the same way as people want and in a highly competitive squad, some players find themselves playing the second fiddle to the more established ones. That is the sort of problem that is being currently face by Barcelona's German goalkeeper Marc-Ander Ter Stegen who is not happy at all in terms of his rather limited role as the goalkeeper of Barcelona and the current situation could mean that plenty of clubs in England might finally have a realistic chance of signing a really top class goal keeper.

Marc-Ander Ter Stegen is rightly regarded as one of the very best goal keepers in the world by people who matter and he has been one of the shining lights for Barcelona in goal in the UEFA Champions League games but he has found it beyond his abilities to dislodge Caludio Bravo from his sport as the La Liga goalkeeper. The current situaton has meant that Ter Stegen wants to have assuarances regarding his first team future at Barcelona and according to Spanish journalist Guillem Balague, the player is looking for a fiunal showdown with the people at the club.

Balague said, "Ter Stegen wants to speak to the club at the end of the season and say to them: 'I'm not happy with this situation. I don't want to be No 2. It is an interesting position that Luis Enrique finds himself in because he thinks Ter Stegen will become a better player - but the goalkeeper that guarantees him consistency is Claudio Bravo. A decision will have to be made by Enrique before Barcelona think of selling anyone." Ter Stegen is wanted by a host of clubs ans among the Enlighs clubs, Manchester City and Liverpool are particularly interested in his services. However, it must be said that is far more likely to get a lot of first team football for Liverpool that he would get for City.
